Abstract—Diversity can truly be seen inherently across India,
on the basis of language. The National Curriculum
Framework-2005 has also given importance to address
multilingualism to aid cognitive development. This paper
explores the field level experiences of implementing
multilingual pedagogy through various case studies. This paper
also explores language education vis-a-vis multilingual
education. The paper tries to address the challenge faced by
children in classrooms due to the difference in mainstream
language and their regional variances of the language.
